Inside Cloudlab

Who’s who at CloudLab: Sie Men Wenk

Sie Men Wenk from Castrop-Rauxel, Germany, has worked for CloudLab since June 2016. Always friendly on the phone, she’s a whiz with numbers, a coordinator and a planner and last but not least, the heart and soul of the team. We love Sie Men for her sunny disposition and the great atmosphere she creates, but also for her almost inexhaustible supply of wine gum and licorice.

Sie Men, what would you say is the most interesting thing about your job?

The diversity of tasks in a flat hierarchy. Everyone works with everyone else here. I assist management as well as our support team. There are different challenges and new projects every day.

What do you like most about CloudLab?

I think it's great that people here all know each other and are not just part of a big, anonymous company. No matter what your position here, you’re considered a full-fledged member of the team. That provides a great sense of community.

What specific projects are you currently involved in?

I am currently automating the accounting system so that our ERP system can take as much work off our hands as possible. I also manage invoices, orders, contracts, events, merchandise management and am the interface to our service providers.

What funny anecdotes have you experienced during your time with us?

There is a wonderful artwork in the kitchen, which a colleague rather involuntarily created when a shaker exploded. We simply hung a frame over it.

Your final word on CloudLab?

CloudLab is a young and interesting company full of great people. Each one of them is unique and working here is a lot of fun. We have a few openings coming up soon. Join the team!
